HP Mosaic Flexible Packaging Design
Designed flexible packaging that demonstrates the power of HP Mosaic through dynamic, one-of-a-kind design variations
Brief:
The HP Graphics Experience Center required a branded flexible stand up pouch to be used by customers during events and visits. The goal was to create a functional packaging piece that also showcased HP Mosaic by producing hundreds of visually unique variations. This project served as both a practical takeaway item and a demonstration of variable design capabilities for HP clients.
Scope:
Designed a flexible stand-up pouch used in the Graphics Experience Center for customer interactions, events, and marketing giveaways, serving both practical use and demonstration of HP Mosaic capabilities
Created fully unique packaging designs using HP Mosaic, ensuring no two pouches share the same visual composition
Developed design in Adobe Illustrator, integrating variable data for text and vectors into the final output
Impact:
Created a functional packaging piece that customers actively interact with during events and visits to the Graphics Experience Center
Demonstrated HP Mosaic’s ability to generate fully unique packaging designs, ensuring each pouch has a distinct visual composition
Showcased the real-world application of variable design technology within a production-ready packaging format
Provided an engaging way for clients to experience HP’s print capabilities through a tangible, take-home product
Summary:
This project expanded my experience with variable design, spot color, and overprint, while strengthening my ability to refine and edit AI-generated assets and improve prompting techniques. It also offered a deeper understanding of how digital designs are brought to life through printing, lamination, and final pouch conversion.
